Online Payment Manual

Payment can now be made online through the website of Nivesh Mitra for the departments of Electrical Safety, Food, Drug, Pollution & Power.

 

After filling the application form, click the tab ‘Fee’. You will be asked to select the “Payment Mode”. You have 3 options to make the payment:

 

1.    Online

After selecting ‘Online’ mode, you have to select the bank first. The banks where Nivesh Mitra has presently been integrated with are SBI & PNB. Select the bank of your choice.

 

 You will now be asked to select the ‘Payment Type’. The options available here are:

a)   Credit Card/Debit Card

b)   Net Banking

 

Choose one of the options from these 2 modes. Then click ‘Pay Fee’. You will now be taken to the respective bank’s site. Enter your credentials as requested, follow the instructions on screen and make the payment online.

 

You will then be redirected to Nivesh Mitra site, where details of payment made by you will be shown. You can take a printout of payment details, if need be.

 

Click on the ‘Submit’ button. Your application alongwith the prescribed fee shall be submitted to the department.

 

2.    Offline

By choosing ‘Offline Payment’ mode, you do not need to make the fee payment online. The payment can be deposited at your nearest bank branch and transaction to the department is made online.

 

After selecting ‘Offline’ mode as payment type, the screen shows 2 copies of the challan for the fee, Indicating all particulars and showing a unique Challan Identification Number. Take a printout of this challan.

 

Approach any nearest branch of the bank selected. Deposit the amount with the copies of challan. The bank will retain its copy and return you the normal challan receipt over counter, with a unique number indicated over that.

Logon to Nivesh Mitra, open your form to be submitted, enter the unique number and click ‘Submit’. Your form alongwith the fee shall reach the department.

 

 

Additional Charges

As the payment is made online by integrating with the banks (PNB & SBI), there are some charges to be added to the aforesaid fee, the detail of which is given below:

 

1)    Net Banking

a.    No amount is payable by the entrepreneur towards bank charges in case of the application forms of the following departments where payments are received at Treasury:

·         Electrical Safety

·         Food

·         Drug

b.    In case of the following departments, where payments are deposited at the bank, an amount of Rs. 45/- per application form is payable by the entrepreneur:

·         Pollution

·         Power

For example, if the application fee is Rs. 5,000/-, the entrepreneur has to make a payment of Rs. 5,045/-, of which the department receives Rs. 5,000/- and Rs. 45/- is transferred to the concerned bank.

 

2)    Payment through Credit/Debit Cards

(This option is not available presently; but shall be incorporated soon!)

 

a.    An amount equivalent to @2% of the application fee (transaction amount) is payable by the entrepreneur towards bank charges in case of the application forms of the following departments where payments are received at Treasury:

·         Electrical Safety

·         Food

·         Drug

For example, if the application fee is Rs. 5,000/-, the entrepreneur has to make a payment of Rs. 5,100/-, of which the department receives Rs. 5,000/- and Rs. 100/- is transferred to the concerned bank.

b.    In case of the following departments, where payments are deposited at the bank, an amount equivalent to @2% of the application fee (transaction amount) plus Rs. 45/- per application form is payable by the entrepreneur:

·         Pollution

·         Power

For example, if the application fee is Rs. 5,000/-, the entrepreneur has to make a payment of Rs. 5,145/-, of which the department receives Rs. 5,000/- and Rs. 145/- is transferred to the concerned bank.

3)    Payment by Offline Mode

A fixed amount of Rs. 50/- per application form is payable by the entrepreneur for the following departments (irrespective whether the fee is paid at Treasury or bank):

·         Electrical Safety

·         Food

·         Drug

·         Pollution

·         Power

 

For example, if the application fee is Rs. 5,000/-, the entrepreneur has to make a payment of Rs. 5,050/-, of which the department receives Rs. 5,000/- and Rs. 50/- is transferred to the concerned bank.
